Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data is and is not processed when you use InvoicesAndReceipts.com (InvoicesAndReceipts.com), and which third-party services may be involved. InvoicesAndReceipts.com is designed to minimize data collection: the tools themselves run entirely in your browser.

1. What you enter is processed locally

Everything you put into a document — your own details, your client's name and address, line items, prices, tax numbers you choose to include, notes, and any logo image you add — is processed by JavaScript running on your own device, and the PDF is drawn there too. None of it is sent to InvoicesAndReceipts.com's servers for processing or storage as part of the tools' normal operation, is not logged, and is not stored by us. Closing the page discards the current draft from page memory, which is also why we cannot recover a document for you. The optional browser-local profile described below is the only persistence feature.

One optional exception, under your control: ticking "Remember my details on this device" stores your own business details, tax defaults, template choice and logo in your browser's local storage, on your device only — never on our servers. Unticking the box or pressing "Forget saved details" erases it, and we have no copy to erase on our side.

2. Technical hosting data

InvoicesAndReceipts.com is hosted on Vercel. Like virtually all web hosting, serving pages involves processing technical request data such as your IP address, browser user-agent, and requested URLs, which may appear in short-lived infrastructure logs used for security, abuse prevention, and operations. This processing is performed by the hosting provider as part of delivering the site. See Vercel's privacy policy for details of their practices.

3. Cookies and consent

The tools do not need cookies. This pre-release build does not load advertising or analytics, and no consent-management platform is currently configured. Those optional services must remain disabled until a suitable consent mechanism is implemented where required; this policy will be updated before activation.

4. Analytics data

No analytics provider is active in this build. The repository contains disabled configuration scaffolding only. If analytics is introduced later, its purpose, provider, retention, event fields, and consent behavior must be documented here before activation; document contents and figures must never be included in events.

5. Advertising data

Advertising is not active in this pre-release build. Disabled AdSense slots exist in the source, but they cannot load unless real publisher configuration and an explicit consent-readiness guard are both supplied. If enabled later, Google and its partners may process technical data and use cookies or similar technologies according to applicable consent choices. For details, see Google's advertising policies and Google's privacy policy. Ad blockers do not affect the functioning of InvoicesAndReceipts.com tools. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time in Google My Ad Center, and opt out across many other vendors at Your Online Choices (Europe) or YourAdChoices (US). Opting out makes advertising non-personalized; it does not remove advertising, and it does not affect anything on this site, because nothing you type is used to target ads in the first place.

6. Third-party services

Depending on configuration, the following categories of third parties may be involved:

  • Vercel — hosting and content delivery (always).
  • Google AdSense — advertising (only when enabled).
  • Analytics provider — aggregate usage measurement (only when enabled).
  • Consent-management platform — records consent choices (only when advertising/analytics requiring consent are enabled).

InvoicesAndReceipts.com does not sell personal information and does not operate accounts, profiles, or user databases.

7. Data retention

InvoicesAndReceipts.com retains no user-entered document data on a server because text entered into the tools is processed locally and does not reach our servers in normal operation. An optional remembered business profile can remain in your own browser until you untick Remember, choose Forget, clear site data, or the browser evicts it. Technical logs held by the hosting provider, and any future analytics or advertising data held by the providers above, are retained according to those providers' published retention policies. Consent choices are stored in your browser and/or by the consent-management platform for the period required to honor them.

8. Your rights and contact

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because InvoicesAndReceipts.com holds no user-entered data, most such requests will concern the third-party services listed above; we will point you to the correct controller and assist where we can. 9. Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated as services are enabled or changed — for example, when advertising, analytics, or consent management goes live. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
